Zoe had a massively good sleep last night, with about 12 and a half hours between when I put her to bed and when she emerged from her room this morning. I used the extra time this morning more effectively.
Zoe was initially not keen on going to ballet class today, for no particular reason, but I managed to convince her to go, and I think she had a good time nonetheless. I again made good use of the time.
We'd been invited to her great grandparent's for lunch today, and we had an hour and a half to kill, during which her great grandparents, along with her great aunt and uncle and their grandchildren were at Lollipops play cafe, which Zoe is very fond of. So we headed over there for a play.
After that, we headed over to Zoe's great grandparents for a lovely lunch.
On the way home, we dropped into Bunnings to try and get some Borax for today's Science Friday experiment, but they were all sold out. As a result, we didn't really get around to doing anything.
We also grabbed a new set of knee, elbow and wrist pads from Amart All Sports while we were in the vicinity, because the elastic is shot in Zoe's current knee and elbow pads. While we were there, the heavens opened. I was a bit torn, but I decided to leave Zoe at Amart All Sports while I made a dash all the way across the car park in the rain to move the car closer. Zoe was fine. One of the staff from Amart All Sports kept an eye on her for me.
By the time we got home, she only had about half an hour of TV watching before Sarah picked her up, so it was a pretty full day, with us out of the house from ballet class until afternoon.
